Discovery & community
The apps feed is Koo's public gallery, and it is the front page of koo.io — the Apps link in the top bar. Published apps show up there for as long as their service resolves, and anyone can browse it — no sign-in required. A listing whose service has gone away drops out of the feed until it's re-pointed, though its own page URL keeps working. The community layer on top — votes, comments, follows — requires a Koo account.
Social actions are things people do, signed in to Koo and acting as an account. An API token or a connected agent can't vote, comment, or follow.
Browse the feed
Three controls shape what you see:
- Search matches an app's name, tagline, and description.
- Filters narrow by category — a fixed list such as Web Apps, APIs & Backends, Developer Tools, AI & ML, and Games — and by the free-form tags makers add to their listings.
- Sort picks the ranking:

Results are paged — click Load more at the bottom to see more.
Vote on apps
Vote an app up or down from its public page — the page shows its net score.
- One vote per account per app; you can switch it or take it back at any time.
- The score is votes up minus votes down, so it can go negative.
- Votes feed the Trending and Top rankings.
Comments
You can comment on any public app page. Threads allow one level of replies: you can reply to a top-level comment, but not to a reply, which keeps discussions flat and readable.
Other accounts can vote each comment up or down.
A deleted comment is replaced in place with a [deleted] placeholder rather than erased. Its replies and vote counts stay intact, so threads remain readable.
You comment as your selected account. If you belong to more than one account — a personal account and a team account, say — check which one is active before posting; the comment is attributed to that account's handle and profile.
Follow makers
Follow an account from its profile or from any of its app pages to keep up with what it ships. Follows are public: they count toward the account's follower total shown on its profile.
Like comments and upvotes, you follow as your selected account, and you can unfollow at any time.
Reporting & moderation Coming soon
Reporting will let you flag content that crosses the line — spam, abuse, anything that violates Koo's terms. Comments, app pages, and profiles will all be reportable: you will pick a reason, optionally add detail, and the report will go to Koo's moderation team for review.
When moderation removes content, it will be replaced in place with the same [deleted] placeholder used for deleted comments, so threads will stay readable.

Be respectful, be honest about what you ship, and keep it lawful — the full rules live in Koo's terms and acceptable-use policy.
